June 11-12th 2022 saw the return of the Whelen Euro NASCAR Series to Brands Hatch, and also saw my long-awaited return to the presenter line-up (well – long-awaited in my head anyway!).
2019 was the last time I joined the Speedfest media team as roving reporter and pitlane presenter for the NASCAR races, by which time this event had well and truly earned its place in my top 3 motorsport events, full stop.
It has everything – family entertainment, spectacular on-track action, unusual and eye-widening vehicle displays, and a vibe that I can’t ever remember feeling at any other event I’ve attended; for work or pleasure!
2022 was no different, in fact I’d go as far as to say it was the best yet – not least because I was given the honour of being ‘Grand Marshal’ for the second NASCAR race of the weekend.

Huge congratulations to the Brands Hatch and Euro NASCAR teams, this was a weekend to remember.
