Great British Car Share

The Great British Car Share is an all-new classic car adventure, starring motoring presenters Sarah Crabtree and Paul Woodford and featuring cars from motoring attraction, The Great British Car Journey.

The series features cars from the Derbyshire attraction, and brings stories about the cars and their place in the history of British motoring in a fun, lighthearted way.

The Pilot Series saw Sarah and Paul experience 100 year old Austins in the Centenary year of the iconic Austin 7. The pair get behind the wheel of several variants of the 7, as well as the Austin 12 and the Austin 14 Goodwood.

Series 1 is a trip down memory lane, with the presenters selecting their favourite cars from their childhood. Paul picks the Ford Sierra and the Mini Cooper, while Sarah picks the Rover 200 and Austin Maxi. Great British Car Journey CEO, Richard Usher also selects two of his childhood cars – the MGB and Mini Clubman.

Series 2 sees Sarah and Paul going on a journey of discovery with some of the most searched for classic cars. This series features the Ford Capri, Triumph Stag, Series 2 Landrover and Ford Escort.

Series 3 of the Great British Car Share is a celebration of the British cars which became world-famous Rally Heroes. Can Paul convince Crabbers that the humble Metro is, at its heart, a fire-breathing rally car?! Watch out for the Lotus Sunbeam finale!

The fourth and final series of the Great British Car Share features the MGs Metro, Maestro and Montego, but if you ask Paul there’s something crucial missing in two out of the three cars. The final film features a look at the iconic MG Montego, in the year when Britain’s first super-saloon celebrates its 40th birthday!
